Ok the lick I wanted to learn was actually over E7 and it used the E Altered scale. I guess It could be played over A minor but I was wondering what you were thinking .

Are you sure all of that was In A minor ? I didn't pick up my guitar but, are you syre you didn't follow the other chords? Would those licks fit over a static A minor chord?
