That’s dumb. Not for the PPE side of things, chuck 15 down on the floor, get a straight edge and mark top and bottom brick, score the line across the other 13. Get your cutter and cut the 15. Easy.

Funny enough, Diamond saw’s don’t fit in your tool bag either. So it’s no surprise not many bricklayers use Diamond saw’s.

OK, Well for those that say a chisel is the way to go here that's understandable. However, some residential and basically ALL comercial work here in the States require saw cuts. But a wet saw is also a must. Respirator and in some cases a face shield with safety glasses. And don't get me started on work done for the Army Corp of Engineers!

When we saw we use a sawtable with dust reduction. No stupid brick grinder on the ground.

Sthil saw cut always for me but what ever way suits the individual as for dust suppression mask up if not using water bottles mandatory on site but not on private work

Standard size nae good to use Brickys. 14inch cutter all day long get that 125mm cutting depth. 12inch cutter even with a new blade mostly just gets 95mm.

I could understand it on blues when the cut is difficult but with clay a bolster is quicker and just as good.
