Easy way of making authentic Ghana waakye

Ingredients
Black eye bean 2cups
(or any beans of your choice )
Rice 2cups
Sorghum leaves 50g
Banking soda 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

I prefer using the same amount of beans as the rice 1 and half cup of both the beans and the rice .
You can also soak the beans over night or hours before you cook it. It all depends on you how fast you want your waakye.
About the texture of your waakye add more water if you want it soft and reduce the water when you want it hard.
Cooking waakye is not difficult. Give this recipe a try and you will love it.
