Searched the Net for info on mixing skintones. Yours was streets ahead of the (many) others. Clear explanations applicable to any portrait. Thank you so much!

As always I found this video informative but, before I paint a person I will remind myself of the colour mixes you teach. Thanks

This was an extremely informative lesson on skin tone. Not only did you show how to mix virtually any skin color from the primaries, but you also went into detail about skin texture and how it will affect the choice of pigments. Thank you for another great video!

You must have been reading my mind Michele, as this subject was going to be my question in your "Ask Me Anything" FB post yesterday 😅 Thank you for the excellent information and advice.
Next time I am digging up zombies I will think of you fondly 🤣 😍 Take care of yourself. ❤️ A xxx

I'll have to come and watch this one again some time, and actually take notes and do some mixes myself, along with you.

Hi. Funny coincidence, I have just today experimented a bit with skintones. Used a mix of raw sienna, magenta and cerelean blue. Liked the result.
Now I will have a look at your tips (started writing this at the beginning of the vid).
Also joined your facebook group today, being a long time follower of your youtube channel thought it was about time.

Thank you for the advice about using a viewfinder! Also, relying on split primary colors instead of premixed colors is really helpful.

Mixing neutral colors has been my biggest challenge. Thank you so much for this. I don't do a lot of faces but this will help me a lot for other things.

This was a very helpful video as I thought just the opposite about blues as far as warmth! Faces are not my favorite but I have several paintings I must finish and this will help a lot.
