Um, shouldn't we restore actual habitats before creating life to popuate said habitats?

Bringing back wooly mammoths in a warming world is the height of irresponsibility and stupidity.

I believe the reason for bringing back the Woolly mammoth is to help in preventing global warming. According to the Green Mountain Energy Blog, the mammoths are "key to preventing the Arctic tundra from releasing massive amounts of greenhouse gasses stored below the surface."

And what are the benefits of bringing an extinct animal back to life? The primary focus should be to maintain the animals/species that we currently have and need.

It seems like a more productive use of this technology would be to help save current endangered species on the planet, not to bring back extinct ones just for the heck of it

They mental gymnastics this company is pulling off to convince themselves that this is somehow ethical is very impressive. What is the point? It's to enrich the company pure & simple. At it's core, this is animal cruelty for human profit.

Wooly mammoths had their moment and they lived during an Ice Age, which we are not currently in so why would you bring them back to be tortured in an environment that is too hot?

There is a whole movie franchise about why this shouldn’t be done.

Even though a lot of us saw Jurassic park I bet if it became a reality some people would still insist on going.

Dude considering how much prehistoric man loved mammoth meat, I imagine reintroducing them will result in a Mammoth season
