Anatolia is one of he most important regions on the earth, which has been hort to great many civilisations and cultures over the millenia. Responding to natural and social events in their lives, the sensitive and emotional people living on these lands have left us a rich heritage of beautiful music.
I believe that today's performers should present the precious works, with their many different flavors, to a wider public, interpreting them in a way so as to appeal tocontemporary tastes, but without distorting their basic melodies. Only in this way can gain them a wider listening public. Many projects undertaken in recent years have done much to gain more popularity for our original music. With the goal contributing to these eforts, I present this work to lovers of folk music, in q way that will allow it to be listened to in every enviroment.
