Stayed there from July 1st to yesterday. The positive reviews are well deserved and I can't say enough about the hotel and it's staff. You are looked after by all staff, from foh to the kitchen staff to the bar staff. Entertainment in the animacion suite of an evening can be a little hit and miss at times but for the most part is good. I saw a Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, blues brothers and beatles tribute during my stay. Its all a matter of taste. I got the impression that most younger revellers didn't stay for the animacion shows, probably favouring the local buzzing nightlife in its place. We were all young once though eh? I went all inclusive and think I ate and drank my bodyweight in good food and cheeky beers and cocktails. I stayed for 7 days but wish maybe I'd stayed for 2. The rooms too are very much what you'd expect. Spacious even for solo travellers. A safety deposit box too in each room. I recommend the agua azul hotel to anyone who wants to fully embrace what it feels like to be on holiday

Stayed here five years ago this Christmas, we were facing back end if hotel..but we had good views of the Christmas activities that was going on.. dancing on ice was good to watch..all for free because of our view.. must say stayed in better hotels.. food OK drinks hit and miss.

You sneaked this one past me, this was on the day we flew back. But I caught up with you. I have always flicked past this hotel, but your video has made me take a 2nd look especially with the scooter parking being so close and the rooms looking like the beds have decently thick mattresses which is always good for a better nights rest. Oh well off we go again, at this rate we’re going to have to get residents permits. 😊

Have stayed here before refurb. I've seen many comments about the new bathrooms, people walking into the glass panel and no privacy. Not sure what the thinking was regarding that design. Rest of the hotel looks nice and it's in a good position. Coaches drop off directly opposite.

Great video! Ive stayed here twice...both times on my own, and i really liked it. I found it, as you mention, a very calm place..I went quite off season i guess, so that probably helped! I liked that it was rather smaller compared to some of the huge hotels. I found everything to be spotless, really liked my room, it looked out over the park, & it was always cleaned immaculately by very pleasant staff. It was a nice, short walk right into the Old Town, and the beach, so a good location for a wander. The food was excellent! A very good variety, always fresh fish, good paella, chicken and meat dishes and well as some great salads. I think it was also an advantage being a smaller hotel, that the food was always replenished very quickly so always piping hot and fresh. I couldnt fault the staff everywhere the the hotel, they were friendly, helpful and courteous...i'd recommend it for anyone really.

I stayed there a few years ago and wasn't impressed....hotel was cold... some staff were rude...no competition for Port Benidorm where we wanted to go.

me and the wife stay here every october perfect little hotel but the entertainment is absolutely shit see you in october lol
