How to make a Portal 2 Cracked Co Op Server without Hamachi

2. Give ip adress to friend

4. Enable developer console - options - keyboard/mouse - Enable Developer

In console type sv_cheats 1 (This will mean that you don't need to start levels again Found out by medvidekmisa)

5. Type map mp_coop_start

6. (Friend Types) connect "your ip adress" (Without Quotes) 7. Enjoy

@medvidekmisa Let me get this straight, when you type, "sv-cheats 1" before the "map mp_coop_start" command in the dev console, you and your partner can play the whole co-op game, not just one chapter requiring you to start the next chapter it via the dev console?

@RevBubbles Yes this will work on a purchased copy and illigal copy however, the person on the illigal copy should host while the person with the purchased copy should join. Port forwarding means to open your ports so that it allows players to join your server. Google search "port forwarding portal 2" and it will have instructions on how to do it.

@athdiakou24 i guess 255.255.255.0 is a subnet mask address, and 10.0.0.5 is gateway address, u can't use them.It won't work because as you said, whe using the same router (like a domestic network), any PC in this network will have the same external(WAN) ip.however, any computer will have different internal(LAN) ip, which needs to be in the same class to play on LAN, like 192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.3

@kjkho o thx for the reply, after playing around for a long while i figured u can open the dev consol by pressing ` only while i'm switching between menus in the main menu.
Like i would press "options" and i press ` before the options appear.
No idea y this worx but it does lol

@pupinas3 Try letting your friend host and joining his server, make sure you join his server while his is on the loading screen, also the hoster may need to port forward.

Nice vid, but I have a question. I open "Portal 2" which I cracked from Skidrow. I open it, enable my console. Restart the game, and when I come in. It doesnt work, I have littrally pressed every botton on my keyboard. Is there some place where you can "edit" your way of getting in to console?

@Broockle Create a shortcut of the game on your desktop, then right click it then properties. then as the at the end of the target add

-console

after the " with a space after it

e.g. "C:/Program Files/Portal2/portal2.exe" -console

click apply then launch.

the developer console should run in the background when u start the game.

i can't get the Dev Consol open, i Enabled it i switched the key to a bunch of buttons and none of them work. Also i use a german keyboard, i switch it to english in game using Alt + Shift, but pressing friggin ` still doesn't open the consol.
I have no idea what i'm doing wrong.
