This is a video abt my 06 sym hd 200 Scooter that I got for a good deal

I love my sym hd 200, most drivers can't keep up with me, fastest scooter for the price ! I can almost reach a speed of 130 KMS an hour

Well, since we talked I now have nearly 9 k on my 2016 HD 200. Had 4k when we talked before. A great bike. Almost sold it some time ago thinking I needed a cruiser for some mellow travels from Seattle to east of the Cascade mountains to the WA desert hangn atthe Columbia River and stuff.
At 9K miles probably time for a belt change I guess. Could be a great side-line business here for someone to do just the routine maintenance stuff for scooter riders. Sooo many folks here buy scooters and never do any routine maintenance stuff like simple oil changes, gear oil, brake fluid, coolant, etc. Easy stuff.

I bought one just like u did with no carb I found one that started the scooter but I was left with 2 hoses that are violent hoses and don’t know were they go know that’s for the video

Excellent just picked up the same exact one...$1500.oo... but I love it...
Mine has a tiny windshield and a rear carry case with back rest....I too, looked at buying a 650 burgman for $3500, glad I didn't...My '09 HD 200 rides super smooth, even with my woman on it...

Great review. I've been looking for one used here in Florida but hard to find. I agree about the Burgman 400...too heavy.

I test rode this hd200 yesterday. I thought it was fantastic. Only reason I am holding out is waiting for the fuel injected version maybe in 2017 as Sym has not released what the 17s looks like. I think it sure is time for Efi on this model. It runs like a hot rod to me, I have a pcx 125. You are right about the Burgman 400 freaking heavy.

You did well on this bike! I have a the same thing in a 2016 year at 4000 miles. Like brand new still. Selling it. Would like a heavier cruiser frame below me for freeway riding, but it's not bad at all on freeways anyway.

Better change the coolant., and again in another year. These are great bikes if you take care of them. Brakes are nothing special but just ride accordingly. I have an 07 and love it. 70 mph and 75 mpg, what's not to like. Enjoy.

I have a 2009 10, 000 miles replaced belt at 8, 000 miles not that there was a problem but mechanic thought it was a good idea it also states in manual to replace at 8, 000. Great scoot for around town or on the back roads.

I do the same thing you do, i just bought and rebuilt a q-link (cf moto) pegasus 150cc for 220 bucks delivered to my door. RE-built, repainted, and added some custom effects like purple LED's and some other things, going to sell for 1200-1500 hundred. I found one of these on Craigslist for 450$ think its worth buying and fixing up? looks just like the q-link, perhaps the same platform?

Can anyone help? I just bought a used 2008 hd theres no power going to dash at all. I replaced cdi and made sure battery was good. I found that the 10 amp fuse was blown and havent yet replaced it but I feel like I should at least have power to the dash. I've been told it could be a bad ignition which would cause zero power
