You know, I actually ‘miss’ this Gordon. Untouched by US TV, we saw more of his raw sense of humour, he made a heck of a lot of shows for us Brits back then. I used to love his live Christmas broadcasts, they were always a blast; mixed with different celebrity (friends) guests & his family.
He’s still lovely of course, but everything is very dramatised for TV purposes these days.. ah. Good ol’ days.
