You don’t HAVE to have Thanksgiving on a specific day just because it’s on the calendar. My husband and I had ours this past Saturday December 3rd. When I was a teen my parents and I would often have it on the Saturday after the “official” day because that was the day my three sisters and my brother could get down to Pennsylvania where we lived. They all lived at least eight hours away from us.
