Ironman Helmet Motorized Faceplate/Jaw

In this video I show you the final test of my motorized faceplate/jaw!
Its a it's a little oversized but it looks great with the rest of the suit.
At the end you see the comparison with the film,the speed is equal.

-i used 3 bleubird BMS-616MG+HS servos, (1 for the jaw).
speed (6v) 0.12sec / 60deg.
torque (6v) 10.2kg /136oz

You can use any servo you want but be sure they are strong enough,especially for the faceplate.

Used a Lynxmotion servo board and software to test it.I will use arduino when its done.

Man, that's really coming along nicely. You have the movement and speed down just right it seems. As I have said before, you do very professional quality work and it shows. The ending of the video was really awesome too I must say. Look forward to seeing more progress...keep it up!

it took me a lot of work to get this far.After this video, I have adjusted the jaw and faceplate, I was not not happy how they joined together, looks a lot better now!
pepping the chest and back right now, i leave the bondo for later;)

Man you have to paint it! Give it a nice paint job and polish... Add some LEDs should be really easy for you! And you have the nicest I have ever seen! Keep it up!

That is amazing i have pepakura finished just need to learn how to the opening faceplate :/ and for those who are saying its oversized it will look alot different when the rest of the armor is on and i would like to see theres keep up the good work buddy

That was a nice and great initiative over there. keep it up a good work. it would be awesome if you forge the helmet from light titanium. maybe it sounds crazy, but we don't know the results if we don't try. yeah. great job!!! =)
