This is why people love Spider-Man, whether it’s Miles or Peter. It’s not the fights, it’s not when he cuts loose, not when he’s selfish, and certainly not when he’s cynical. It’s this. He calls himself the ‘friendly neighborhood Spider-Man’, not because of his quips (though that’s more or less part of it), but because he looks out for everyone and helps people in big and small ways like a friend and a neighbor as much as he does as a hero and a superhero.
