you dont have to stick to the stranded outfit but rather you can craft another armor and then transmog to the stranded and still have some good defensive stats

You can do duke pretty easily at power ~10 with some mantras and if you want just get someone to spam duke with you and 5-6 dukes you should get bell and it's safer and probably easier than chaser

you should really transmog a Pathfinder Lantern because it completely makes your bell invisible

you could get a starter weapon like falchion or a messer or a vigil sword and alloy it to look more like a freshie
