Well, for surface area of a cube, you get the surface area of one side, and then multiply that number by 6; the layout of the box is somewhat more difficult, however.

Come to think of it, why not internally group the doubles in the math problem as you solve the problem, for instance: the 200 x 2, plus the 120 plus the 60, each of the latter two of those numbers is the combined total of two other groups; so really you'd have in this formula for the total surface area of said box.

When you are supposed to remember this but you forgot because you know you're really never gonna need to know these in real life but then in your higher grades they catch you off guard and you have to find the surface area but you forgot, I'm still in 7th grade, it's my sister that forgot, she didn't watch this video for your info
