i feel like ipad users got gipped on the widgets and home screen customization. no reason for us to not have the same freedom as the iphones.

I want to know if there will be any updates for iPad 7th Gen.
I have been using iPad 7th generation since lockdown to teach online, earlier I was able to share my screen and do multitasking like opening a PDF and notes side by side but after I updated to IPadOS 14, my screen sharing abruptly stops due to multitasking. Can I go downgrade my IPadOS …?…?…?
Or is it possible to request Apple to fix this issue ??

Really feels more cosmetic. Apple and various Youtubers keep trying to sell the iPad as a laptop replacement, and regretfully I bought into that hype. But as is obvious with iOS14 Apple still thinks of the iPad more as a large iPhone than a "computer"

So many missing futures that will have a real impact on the productivity of the iPad that they just dont care about. Heck even the iPhone got more in this update. It should be a clear sign to all of us that the iPad will always be more of a consumption device.
Things I hope the address:
1. Multi User support like Android and other operating systems has had for ages
2. External screen output at native external screen resolution and not just screen mirror but second screen
3. Keep working on improving file manager at least offering ability to format external storage with different filesystems and better file copy status indicator especially over network
4. Consolidate all settings for keyboard, mouse, pen in one settings menu option
5. App tray like iOS just got and ability to place widgets anywhere allowing me to have a clean clutter free desktop
6. Support more filesystems for external storage even if we have to purchase plugins for the support
7. Safari still needs to be beefed up to be closer to desktop. Using it for productivity like Google docs or Online design services like Marvel Apps just does not work well
