In this video I share the Galaxy Tab A7 Good and bad based off my usage.
I have narrowed it down to a total of 6 things; my top 3 best or favorite features, and my top 3 worst or least favorite feature of the samsung galaxy tab A7.
This samsung budget level and light productivity tablet offers a decent performance and some very nice features about it.
It is still a nice tablet to pick this holiday season, as budget tablet prices are slowing creeping back up, including that of the Galaxy Tab A7.
Black friday deals are still lingering around and this would be a nice opportunity for those currently looking for the best android tablet to grab a samsung tab a7 even if they missed on a black friday tab a7 deal. Many retailers are still trying to offer discounted black friday price or black friday tablet deal for samsung tablets.

I called samsung about the sdcard issue and they told me that functionality had been removed. I raised a complaint and I ask everyone that owns this tablet does the same.

I just picked up one of these for one of my kids. It’s replacing an iPad mini 2. I just couldn’t spend the money on another iPad, considering what he uses a tablet for. I would have spent almost double on an iPad if I went with a higher storage option. I’m glad you touched on the sd card. I tried different sd cards, put it in developer mode, reformatted the cards and never could get it to work. Your the only person that I know of that has talked about the sd card issue in a review. Despite that, I am really impressed with the tablet so far. Keep up the great reviews!

Based entirely on your review I ended up ordering a 64 GB version just so I don’t have to worry about it!
Truthfully I never liked the way Android tablets handled that anyway - it was never automatic and I would constantly be going into settings and moving stuff around -
which was a pain.
But still - taking that option away really is a game changer I think.
It’s basically the same thing as buying a 64 gb Ipad now - and no other reviewer talked about it - AT ALL.

It has been two years since the video was uploaded, but there is a way to move your apps from the internal storage to SD: Settings > Apps > select an app > storage used > Change.

It is a long process and must be done individually for every app, but it works.

Thank you for highlighting the SD card issue. I wonder if Samsung is going to start a trend with this on their lower budget items to provide incentive for folks to either buy more expensive Samsung products or to upgrade in a shorter timeframe.

great video as always. I got this A7 last week off Amazon and I just love it. I got the 64gb one and I don't see myself running out of space for my apps as I don't do a ton of stuff on my tablets. Just reading, streaming, and music and for my music, I have a 128 GB micro sd card. I have that keyboard case you had on this video and while I love the keyboard that case is so HEAVY. When I'm reading I put it in an old Samsung tablet case. It doesn't fit perfectly but it's lighter and easier to hold.

2nd or third video of yours I’m watching, with a few saved for later, I must say this.
When it comes to budget devices, usually the bigger channels don’t review them. The mid tier ones graze over them, if at all, to lure in the public, bc lets be honest there are more people on youtube looking into budget options rather than those who just go to the store and buy whatever they offer or the budget can afford or what they heard their friends suggest, especially in the CIS region, where I’m from.
The channels that review these are rather small and the quality and presentation is on par with that. It’s not the case here. Aside from the visuals, which are very good, the quality of the review itself is very high. Well presented and prepared, with a mix of real life experience and spec sheets.

So regardless of “huge favours” (:D) I am a subscriber now for the great quality content you provide and the way you provide it. Good luck in your endeavors and God willing you will see your million and more!

Glad YT did something right for once and showed this vid on my feed.I was going to get tthe A7 due to it having a bigger screen and it seem better than the one I have now.But now I'm having second thoughts and it's making me heated at Samsung for INTENTIONAL making the sd card use an issue.If the A7 goes for under $100 I might get it to try to find a way for file transfer. I'll go with the S7 or S7+ the ram is very tempting.😎😎😎

Omg! I loved this video, it was super helpful. I didn't know how to use the split screen function. I haven't tried to install anything in the SD card. I am just in the process of ordering it. I will coment if I can do it. I have been using it for netflix and grading my students. My hands down FAV feature is the blue light filter, it was the selling point for me cause I have some damage in my corneas and the computer had me literally in tears after 20 min.
