Water leaks from the housing where the water filter is installed. The filter does not "snap" into place, regardless of how much or little pressure I put on the filter when installing. I am following the directions, but it is still leaking regardless what I do. Have tried several water filters and this is getting too expensive. Wish I could run it without the filter. Fridge model PRMC2285AF05 + PureSource Ultra II EPTWFU01 - Help!

My filters didn't come in shrink wrap, I thought they all were supposed to... what about others? Do I have a counterfeit? It has the same red box packaging.
