My family had a Siamese when I was really little, and I had one later as a teen. They were both the most loving, cuddly, sweet cats I've ever known. They were the Traditional kind, back in the 60s and 70s. The second treated me like her kitten, and I was most definitely her person. My current boy was a feral kitten; I got him when he was 2, after his first owner died. No idea what breeds he's made up of, but he *acts* like a Siamese. Follows me room to room, sleeps in my arms, wants regular loving. He didn't talk much at first. I don't think his first owner talked to him. Being trained by Siamese, I've always talked to my animals. Within a few months he'd started talking back, and now he talks as much as a Siamese does, with as much variety - meows, chirps, trills, the whole gamut. He just doesn't have that distinctive voice. But he'll howl just as loud when he's insisting on something! 😄

While it took a while for our Siamese to come around after adopting him, he has since become the most affectionate and clingy of our three cats and will snuggle and sleep next to you for a long time whenever you sit on the couch. While he is totally intimidated and avoids our male tabby cat, he has totally bonded with our Tortie and they have become like natural littermates and she totally lives up to her stereotype of feistiness, affection and mischievous, despite her appearance being a coat pattern and not an actual breed.

As far as vocalness, while there are times our Siamese can be very loud and demanding, like when he wants to eat, but not to the extreme where he lives up to the breed's reputation, so I think it's more an individual cat thing especially given the girl cat is far noisier and seems to always have something to say.

I had siamese! Never put two females together! All hell will break tons of things in the house! You forgot one breed that is awesome! The Maincoon! The giant of cats!
they love being with you! They are like dogs always around you! And have a language
of their own! They talk to you all the time! Some are almost as big as bobcats!

take #4, (Burmese) add #1 (Siamese), and you have the true clingmaster champion; the Tonkinese!

Pretty sure I grew up with a cat that was part ragdoll. She looked nothing like the breed. She was mostly black with medium to shortish fur. But you could hold her any old way, and she was cool with it. I enjoyed putting her on my shoulders and holding her back paws in my left hand and her front paws in my right.

The music is distracting me. I wish I could finish listening to the video without the music. Thanks for the information however.

I dont know much about ragdolls or abecinion. But i think they should be ranked much higher.

Shyinx cats are great. Very smart. But the males are insane, the females are angels

Burmese cats are very affectionate. Almost too affectionate. But they are such a good cat. Especially if you have kids. You can pick a. Burmuse by a tail and it will forget it five minutes later.

Siamese cats are loud. Like real loud. Very smart, sociable. But they will keep you up all night. Also, probably not good w kids. If you pick this cat up by the tail it will fuck you 10x over

Bombay are not as loud, but they are velcro cats and will follow you everywhere.

Sphinx and Bombay are by far the smartest cats. If you own one you will create a language w them. Its wild. best cats for first time owners are probably the Bombay or burmese.
