You kinda need two willing parties to reconcile, and Canadians aren't interested because there is no truth being told, or at best, half truths. These are just government funded activits who hope we pay attention long enough for them to tell us we are the root cause of their problems. Taking their abusive, condescending remarks, and giving them money is supposed to be our path forward. An actual path forward would be nice.

I’m a card carrying native Canadian…. It’s such complete BS…. Enough already. We could live in a wonderful country, full of opportunity and success… yet we choose to squabble over our ancestors mistakes. Grow up, get over it, put the drugs down, put your boots on, stop blaming everyone else for your problems, get to work making your own life and the lives of those around you better. Don’t care about creed, country or race… are you a good person? Can you get the job done? Do you have values and morals? That’s what we judge people by. Sick of this racism talk. Let racists talk and do what they want… good always triumphs over evil. Good men and women of any race will defend unjust treatment. 99% of people are good people, we don’t have to agree on everything, and we will all stand up to that 1%, together. That’s what it is to be human. We’re all just imperfect meat sacs clinging onto a mud ball in space. Let’s enjoy our time here instead of fighting. Let’s do good while we are here. Help someone if they need it. Be polite and kind. Stand up to bullies, stick up for what’s right and decent. It really isn’t that hard!
