Welcome to this piano tutorial video. I will show you how to play the G major scale on piano. This lesson is designed for beginners or those who want to brush up on their knowledge of the G Major Scale.
The G major scale has one sharp, the F#. The relative minor key of G major is e minor. The G major scale uses the following notes: G A B C D E F#.
The scale has seven different notes. When playing the scale, the first note is frequently repeated one octave higher at the end. That note is G in this scenario. This "rounds off" the scale and gives it a finished tone. The pitches G, A, B, C, D, E, and F# make up the G major scale. It contains one sharp note, the F#.
On the piano the G major scale uses 6 white and 1 black key.
Major scales are the most significant piano scales, first and foremost because they are the most common and, second, because they are the most basic to grasp. When someone says that a piano sonata by composer and pianist Franz Schubert is played in A Major, they are referring to the A Scale.
Scales are an important aspect of piano playing, and everyone goes through the process of learning how to finger them correctly.
