It's 2024 and thank you for this video! I love my old school Kenmore washer and used this video to help me do a complete transmission and clutch replacement. It got a new timer about a year ago so I figured I was committed. I'll be back to drop another comment in 20 years!

Thank you for the video. I could just kiss you. My husband and I purchased the part and installed it this morning. I did one load and the problem appears fixed. It is such a relief. The old clutch didn't appear to be broken but was covered in black debris. Again, thank you so much. You saved me $100s of dollars.

Steve, Thank you very much for your excellent video. I really appreciate you all taking the time to share your expertise. I think we owe it to the people who made these machines to keep them going as long as possible. Your perfectly presented step by step instructions made me look "awesome" to my wife. Thank you very much! Best wishes to you all.

Bravo! The only video that shows the alignment of the 1/2" metal stop clip before inserting the agitator.

Just used this video to repair our washing machine. Great video! Definitely a Life Saver. Especially considering a repair service wanted to charge me about $580 for the repairs!!! 😠😠. Clutch cost me $50 and some of my spare time. Thanks again! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

This is the best video I have found on the replacement of a clutch. Just a realization: returning the Retaining Clip is not as easy as shown on the video. Also, I broke my D clip. Besides that, we are happy with the repaired washing machine. We should repair things than throw them away Thank you from the Philippines.

Great video! I changed the coupling on my Whirlpool washer without any problem. The motor was running but the agitator was not running. I followed your very detailed video and wow! the washer is running better than before. Thanks a million.

Great video! I just did this repair and it was a cakewalk. I just disconnected the pump and left the motor attached to the gearbox. It slid out easily and wasn't too heavy all as one unit. Doing it this way allowed me to leave the cover and everything on, other than the agitator of course.

Very good! Probably saved me having to buy a new washer. This Inglis Liberator is going on 40 years and still going strong. :)
