I had never heard of James Blunt until 2024, I'm 61 now. How did this happen? Thanks to the Voice when he was reintroduced too the world. Wow, I feel very cheated, he is amazing. His lyrics alone are iconic, not to mention the emotion he puts behind his songs.

i heard this song when i was younger, probably around the time it came out. i was crazy about it. it was my favorite song ever, i was only 16 at the time. i was in love with a girl and we were together for 4 years after that, its also around the last time i heard this beautiful song until now its 3:30 am right now, i havent seen or talked to her in years, i just woke up having a dream about her and i opened youtube as i'm unable to sleep, and this song shows up, im overwhelmed and wanna cry, i feel like i missed out on my whole life and i'm powerless to do anything,

I contiuously repeat listening this song for hundreds times everyday to remind that "If time is all I have, I'll waste it all on you", my beloved wife. If tomorrow never comes, I will live all this day for you, love you, look at you, and feed my memories all of your face, words, shape, smell. I like the hungry looking for your face day by day. Darling, when we all get older, I will still hold your hand as tight as I can, make you happiest as you can imagine or even above.

I’m 57 years old this year and have been listening to James Blunt all these years and in my opinion, he is one of the best song writers/performers around still. In his dark times he writes a song to put into words how he feels and shares it with us in his way. Those songs are heart wrenching but beautiful as well. Find me another artist that does this as beautiful as him! Maybe Ed Sheeran to his credit but James Blunt does it beautifully ❤️🇬🇧
