Finally got a Spyderco and its this one. Nice action, super sharp and bigger than I thought it be but great in the pocket. Will throw on a deep carry clip and this will be my new EDC.

I actually wanted the Ikuchi from that batch of releases, but the Smock has been winning me over more and more. The red G10, with better grip, just put it over the top for me. Crossed fingers. :)

It's odd, based on the pictures I saw on spyderco's website of the smock...it looked fugly. But seeing it actually held and moved around it looks really awesome! I wouldn't have known it was a cool knife thank you 👍

Man, there are channels waaaayy bigger than yours not giving shit away! I’m not necessarily talking about knife channels either although there are a couple of those. That big choil bit has always bugged me. I like the blade shape otherwise and I realize it has to be there to not hit the lock when closed but it looks weird. I don't love when there's a big hook back there to hang up on rope and stuff either. Very cool of you to do a giveaway though.
