15 Most Unique Eggs In The World

Like snowflakes, no two eggs are alike. Each egg is unique! From brown, to white, to blue -even covered in spots - they come in many different shapes, sizes, and colors. Just check out the spiral-shaped Horn Shark’s egg. You’d never even think there was a living being growing inside that. Or sometimes the ‘laying’ of said eggs involves an epic story, like the protective penguin papa’s journey to father-dom in the Antarctic. And other times these oddball animals' eggs can be a little shocking. Ever heard of a Mermaid’s Purse? Our thoughts are 'eggs-actly’!!!The one thing these eggs have in common with each other is the undeniable truth that they are ‘eggs-ellent’.

So how many people just became Trypophobic after watching those baby toads coming out from holes in their mothers back?!? When they all moved at once, made my damn skin crawl.. 😖

That mermaid's purse is neat! I'd like to find one. My daughter's chickens lay an occasional blue or green egg. Amazing.

The Graneledone boreopacifica octopus he talks about is the exception, by a long shot. Most octopuses (yes it's octopuses, not octopi) live 3 to 5 years. Their eggs take between two to ten months to hatch, during which time the mother stays with them, she doesn't even leave them to eat. By the time they hatch, she's just about dead, and dies soon after they swim away.

It is a shame that you didn't have quail eggs. Many of us believe quail is the new chicken.

Chicken egg color is never determined by feather color. I have white chickens that lay brown and green eggs. I have brown chickens that lay white eggs. Yes, earlobe does give you a hint but not feathers. Leg color can indicate a good egg layer but usually it just varies by breed.

Fabergé is pronounced "FAB-er-SHJAY", not "Fab-urdge". Also, epitome is pronounced as "Eh-PIT-uh-mee", NOT "Eh-pi-tohme". As in, "This so-called informational video that mispronounced the most famous jeweled & enameled eggs in the world is the epitome of ironic." I couldn't watch any further, my eyes rolled so hard that I might have detached my retinas, or what you might call my, "REE-tine-ASS". Here's a thought, look up how to correctly say the words with which you're going to fill the video using your fake announcer's voice and unnatural rhythm so that you don't make it quite so obvious that you have no idea what you're talking about.

I’m sorry but I can’t finish this video. Right from the start you mispronounced Fabergé. Makes me wonder what else is wrong.
