As a blind (legally) person and a family who's either blind, half blind or legally, I can relate to the blind girl. My little sister who caught a condition from my father genetically is slowly become fully blind and I invited her to my birthday party at school, all the kids in my class is aware that me and my family are blind but a group of girls completely disregarded the fact and bullied my sister for being blasian (black asian; caribbean), looking like a blind person and looking like she has down syndrome for having brown skin and thin eyes. I felt horrible for blind girl in the video and love the animation showing that it's not fun to be blind. Trust me, it truly isn't. It creates fear for us in the future when we overcome blindness. We're so used to being blind that we forget about reality sometimes and get so comfortable not worrying about what someone thinks of you. I don't know if that's just me and my family or it's the same case for a lot of other people. It doesn't even have to just apply to blind people, it can be people that just cannot see in general. Not only that but when we really think about, the amount of dangers we're unaware of that lies in front of us is even more scary. My brothers were jumped in front of The MET yet they're blind, unfortunately ended up in the hospital.

I get offended when people say blind people are lucky or it's not that bad to be blind. Trust me, I really do try thinking of the positives and advantages of being blind. It just hurts when people say such things.

This isn't hate to the video, just praising the awareness from the creator and the video they created. ❤
