I would like to see Dr. Sowell made an official national treasure before he passes. I have listened to him and read his work for decades and he always gives me hope.

never seen a man so erudite in scholarship, so humble and simple in rendition of his thoughts, and such commitment and discipline that commands respect

Love his writings and analyses. What he's saying is 100% true. When you read his books he even goes in depth to illustrate how terrible the consensus and the media are themselves while trying to convince you of a falsehood. He always digs down to the roots to expose the falsity of their claims.
I say this to people all the time: critically think and examine everything you listen to, buy into, or read from everyone and then make a decision. Don't just get informed, scrutinize the information. Much of the public is fooled into the crap our politicians put out because we have lost the ability to critically think and question things. It's truly disheartening. We vote for our own demise. Good stuff.

Sowell is like Friedman without the tact and diplomacy, and I love him for it. Hope he lives to 125.

Sowell one of my all time favorites. Most bang for the buck with economy of words to make his basic common sense points, with casual brilliance.

I love Mr. Sowell; I see he is well in his later years, it makes me sad to think of a world without him.

Dr. Sowell is one of the greatest minds the US has ever produced. He certainly is the greatest mind on this generation.

There are smart people and there are wise people. Dr. Sowell has managed to bridge the gap. Have listened to him for more than forty years and he continually amazes me with his knowledge

I had an economics teacher tell the class to work a total farm harvest once before they begin their vocation. Then they’ll know what hard work is.

Recently YouTube started recommending Noam Chomsky videos for me. I’ve watched a few just to see how the other side thinks. They are frightening! I’d pay good money to see Sowell and Chomsky in a face to face debate! It might be the best thing for the nation right now.

Imagine a world where black people put this amazing man on a pedestal, instead of the likes of George Floyd .

Sowell's answer to Dave's 2:14 question is very funny. I love Thomas Sowell, but it's rare he can make me laugh.

Thomas Sowell is a national treasure, and his life could only have happened in the USA. I hope they make a movie of his life one day (I hope hollywood makes that movie.)

Watching the transformation of Dave rubin through his admissions is admirable. I believe everyone is allowed mistakes, the problem comes forward when a refusal to correct mistakes I evident. Dave has very publicly corrected his his mistakes. I respect that. One of the hardest things to do for today's society is admit that their own self could be wrong.
