It's all about Osmanthus on the channel today and I'm speaking about 15 different Fragrances focused on Osmanthus. Some more than others but all of the Fragrances in today's video features Osmanthus as notes. Osmanthus to me has a smell of Fruity Florals. Mostly Stone Fruits such as Apricots, Peaches, Nectarines, and sometimes Plums. I live in Taiwan and there are osmanthus shrubs EVERYWHERE and i can smell them for the better part of the year... In my opinion based on the ACTUAL scent of real osmanthus flowers, you've mentioned TWO in this list that TRULY snell like osmanthus : Ormonde Jayne, and Perris Monte Carlo... The Perris is SLIGHTLY more authentic (Though the OJ version is gorgeous, too)... Two more that DO really nail the true scent of osmanthus are The Different Company - Osmanthus (a soliflore but VERY authentic, albeit a bit dull by comparison) and Mona di Orio's Oudh Osmanthus... BEAUTIFUL and real... Just my two "scents" haha!!

Osmanthus fragrans/ Tea Olive - Here in New Orleans, and elsewhere in the South, Tea Olives are often put along front walks or beside front doors so the incredible apricot/stone fruit scent will greet visitors. The scent is intoxicating. Loved this video!

I enjoyed the review.
Actually I am still discovering this note and I am desperate to smell/eat it as a raw material.
I had an osmanthus candy which tastes very unique: fruity, creamy and sweet.
The interesting fact is, when I eat it with coffee it brings up the fruity notes like magic !

Osmanthus by Aqua di Parma is the most authentic / natural Osmanthus I’ve smelled. But even that is still not 100% to what the actual Osmanthus flower smells like from the tree.
