I like to combine flam taps / half of a flam tap with swiss army triplets. I've basically renamed these so the sounds match the names, and started calling traditional flam taps as "flam tap flam taps, " half of which being a "flam tap, " and swiss army triplets as "flam tap taps." this way, a group of 5 is "flam tap flam tap tap, " or group of 7 is "flam tap flam tap flam tap tap, " both of which would surely sound tasty played like this in grooves.
