The markets are manipulated by the Federal Reserve Corporation and they take profits from their stocks to balance their books and stay solvent and this keeps the Federal Reserve Corporation solvent financially and the monetary system that they control gives them the power to stay in business as long as they want.

Charles the stock market comes back while you lose time! Time is key here how long did it take for the stocks to recover and then do the math again because you lost time. Time is money! You never get back the time it takes to recover the money you lose. A steady investment is treasury bonds because time is on your side.
