The fact that NSH is replacing certain letters with numbers and symbols implies that there is a filter set in place for naming slugcats/creatures, likely put there by the ancients. The ancients had the foresight to place a profanity taboo on the iterators to prevent them from naming their creatures something profane, but NSH still managed to bypass it.

Edit: After careful consideration, i have come to the conclusion that it would be "Double Affirmative": The scug is indeed very portable and the scug can be applied at large scale, scug just ISN'T the solution.
