Tears flowing as I reminisce. It’s true as you age the same song will form new meaning and you discover that deeper meaning only as you age. Been a fan of Garbage since the beginning and they were there during my teens, 20s, 30s and today. So much thought, emotions, melody, lyrics to create this honest masterpiece. I so very much miss this music. The video is an absolutely perfect choice.

I was at their show in Ljubljana, Slovenia this tuesday. Shirley said this song was the essence of their new album. This song feels like Depeche Mode wrote it. That's not an insult since Garbage and Depeche Mode are two of my top three favorite bands of all time. I'd love to have Shirley and Dave Gahan do a duet together. It would be so dark and epic.

I think this isn't just my favorite song on the album. It's become a favorite song of mine in life -- along with others, of course. Sometimes, if this song is on in the background and someone is over to hear it, it stops them in their tracks and they just listen.
