I'm Dyslexic and found it in my 20's i cannot spell almost any word with more than 6 letters i can't write anything without the help of autocorrect in my phone...and because of that i couldn't complete my education I'm High school dropout and it kills me everyday.😓

When I hear ''i'', ''a'' and ''e'' I often mix them up. I've been diagnosed early in my life, just didn't know that was also probably caused by dyslexia.

The severity of my dyslexia gave me 25% extra time for my exams and the privilege of being in a separate blank white room rather than the exam hall crammed with hundreds of students, a small room with an invidulator just for me. I honestly don't think I could have done it otherwise, they really wanted me to pass, printed on yellow paper for reading and I ate sherbet lemons

Now i'm thinking i'm dyslexic, but i love reading and writing. I do have trouble with left and right, also telling time and reversing stuff.

I've always thought that I've had dyslexia
My dad has it. I didn't really start to learn how to read till I was about 8 or 9 like that's when I started to take reading seriously because my parents were upset that I wasn't able to spell or read simple words such as Cheddar. math stresses me out for so many different reasons and not just normal math, business math. The whole "i before e except after c" thing does not work with me, i mix up S's and C's and lowercase D's and B's and sometimes J's and G's. Words like continue is hard for me because when I'm thinking of the word spelled out in my head I see two I's but I know for a fact there are not. And when someone gives me directions such as "go stage left" or "upstage right" it takes me a minute to process what they just said.
Overall I am convinced I am dyslexic and I tell people that because growing up I was a slow learner and I still am I'm still learning new stuff almost everyday

In my 40s, and so many of the issues I’ve struggled with became clear once I realized I was dyslexic. I’m always stumbling over my words, and it’s left me more of an introvert than I’d like to be. My father’s favorite line when I was a kid was, “Think before you speak.”

My my realisation of my dyslexia was that occasionally when i read i replace a word with a completely different word but it starts with the same first letter. So from time to time it would give a whole different meaning to sentences that i read. Thankfully i catch this out more often now but i didn't self realise this until i was about 20 years old & i was diagnosis dyslexia when i was 18 just before my final exams to go to university. 😂

Since when are math equations read right to left? I got an A in maths and I've never heard of this.

I dont have a problem reading, some days I can ready fluent sometimes it's patchy. The real problem is understanding what I have read. Its like the process of reading overtakes what the content is

What is her 3rd example in sign 5? I've never heard that word. Does it mean something to do with light/luminous?

I always had difficulty telling right and left apart and still can't read a analogue clock. Now I am in medical school, still have difficulty with reading large textbooks and I am a very slow reader. I am never able to complete an exam on time because I can't read a clock. I never got help & don't think i ever will
