I love her spirit. She's such a happy soul. So real, so energetic and I love the way she laughs and laughs throughout the interview. She makes everything seems easy to do. One word, 'wow'. And Lewis I love the way you have moved her a notch higher, given her a push in the right direction. I am a millionaire in the making. Thanks for sharing, thanks for encouraging, thanks for inspiring.

Lewis thank you for doing this interview! It's extremely valuable for black women to see other black women, who have come from struggle and yet managed to make it. Her story is literally my story, in regards to having drug/alcohol addicted parents and being on welfare. I'm in my 40's and I started my Entrepreneurship journey 3 years ago and it's been slow going to say the least. I have been really struggling with all of those mean girl thoughts and this interview gave me hope and the push I needed. Thank you again🙏🏾

Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.

First time hearing about her and who she is, I love what she's teaching her children they sound just like mine. My 9 year old loves to draw his own comics and he is amazing at computers he taught himself how to code and program, I always remind him you can do whatever you want with these talents. ❤️ So much good info in this show thank you 🙏❤️

No idea how to make my art stuff a "desirable service" that people would pay for. A couple days ago, I used what little money I have left to rent a flea market booth and have been busting my butt to try to make it look as nice as possible as inexpensively as possible. It's a lot of work, but I have to try SOMETHING. I really hope this works.

Update: I just got an on the spot offer to design stickers and a logo for a local business! Also, thank you guys so much for the encouragement and advice!

two things: First. This conversation is great. Lots of great stuff. But imposter syndrome is a consequence of ones' relationship with uncertainty. Most of us feel like imposters because we think that an expert has the right answer. The existential reality is that NO ONE KNOWS the right answer. When I realize this I stop feeling like an imposter.

Omg YES. Lewis this interview gave me MORE LIFE. I am a black women and this totally resonated. I had not heard of Rachel, until now. Imagine my excitement!! This was so very inspiring. I literally jumped when Rachel mentioned Doulas, as I’m in the process of launching my Doula practise. This program would mean so very much to so many women. I am based in the U.K and we need this here too. I can’t wait to see how this all unfolds. I LOVE the way you encouraged Rachel in this endeavour, in the beautiful way you always do!

On "walking into the room" and feeling perhaps inferior to those who are there and are well-seasoned...remember that they too once walked into a room with so much in front of them to learn.

She's right, we need to surround ourselves with what we are trying to achieve. I know cuz when I need to lose weight I know that surrounding myself with people who have those same goals, has helped. Those that were born closer to the age of the interner are the luckiest. Theres a lot of good advice here. I'm a baby boomer, I've learned a lot from internet. Things I wish I woulda known when I was in my 20s.
