Your review is nice and makes me drool of what a good looking shiny plane it is when you do the close up view on it. Nice flying.

Awesome model, and great flying!  This one tempts me, just because it looks so cool and I love bipes, but it is a bit out of my flying style and ability.  I hope Horizon doesn't give up on the brushed UMs that I can fly nice and slow in the small area in front of my house.  These brushless UMXs are too fast to be flown in the really small areas, which is kind of what UMs were all about.  :/

I bought this plane about a month or so ago and have flown it probably 50+ times and it's a blast and very stout, I do however reccomend removing the landing hear skirts not the wheel pants, just the skirts as they tend to cut into the lower wing on harder landings, other than that this plane is a sweet little flyer, I own several planes both sport and 3d and this is among my favorites. Happy flying!

Nice video. I bought mine today from Hobby Town USA in Cheyenne Wyoming.

RCdeparture nice review! I think this will be my next plane. I'd like to point out that the stock 180mAh battery from the Parkzone UMX Icon A5 should also work with this plane.

Ok John, if you had to pick of the following 3 Bipes, which would you choose: the UMX Pitts S-1S, UMX Waco or (for a curve) the UMX P3 Revolution? I realize all are better at different things, but my thought is the Pitts should be similar to the Waco??? And, wouldn't the P3 just be the best of both worlds...ability to just cruise around and then get a little aggressive? I'm not a huge 3D guy, but I still fly a Night VisionAire. Not that $20 bother me, but there is a big UMX sale now and the older two models are just that much cheaper. So, if the Waco (and for wind I do like the safe select for landings only) has advanced further in time, with regards to better flight times d/t a wider flight envelope (which you did like) then I'll get it. If she's gonna' be an equal to the PItts, then I'll pick the Pitts over the Waco. Finally, I'm thinking if the P3 can be both...a wide envelope flier that can cruise like the Waco and then get SILLY, I'll go with that. (Hmmm, was there a shorter way to ask that? LOL). Do you think this is too much for a relative newbie. Just started less than 2 weeks ago. Lots of time on Phoenix sim led to 17 uneventful flights in Chanp, Radian, Super Cub S and two flights today in an Apprentice. If the answer is no, in that I love biplanes, what biplane would you recommend for a newbie? Great video BTW!
