Mine spend a lot of time in the water tho. Specially when I clean their tubs out. Then it's a feast with no ending it seems. And they love to eat in the water too. Each time I clean their tubs I find a pile of dry food residue in it, usually the "bigger" corn pieces. For some odd reason they sift them out of their beak. Silly big birds, I tell ya.

Don't get me wrong, they LOVE to forage too, it's actually ridiculously funny to see them sprint across the yard to catch that one big fat fly or grasshopper. And boy, do they sprint if they want too, for real. They're pretty fast for big birds with short legs and huge webbed feet.

Love my Muscovies. They act more like dogs than ducks. Never seen such behavior from ducks.

Hello sir. Nice video. I just wanted to clarify that muscovy females do quak, but only when they are harassed and get scared.

I have two ducks and two Muscovy drakes for about 10 days now. I have trained them to follow me out an enclosure and free range but have they don't range far away. My question is I have a lot of grass for them to feed on and I give them chicken feed every day but how do I know if they are having enough food? Also I used bread to familiarize them to me but I read somewhere that bread is bad for them. Is this true?
Thanks for the video.
