3 Refreshing Vegan Summer Drink Recipes

It's summer and that means we all need some refreshing drinks to beat the heat! These are all non-alcoholic drinks but I give a suggestion if you want to add booze so whether you're making these for your family or for a party I got you covered!

♡ RECIPES:

Iced Peach Green Tea (serves at least 2):
1 peach herbal tea bag
1 green tea bag
2 fresh peaches, peeled and diced
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
mint & more peach for serving
ice!!!

1. Add tea bags to a pot or mug and steep in hot water for 5 minutes. Add ice cubes to cool it down or leave in fridge overnight.
2. For the simple syrup, add sugar, 3/4 cup water and fresh peaches to a pot and bring to a simmer. Stir frequently, and simmer about 10 mins.
3. Assemble the drinks with ice, fresh peach and mint. Then add the tea and simple syrup to taste.

Frozen Strawberry Lemonade (serves 2):
1 cup frozen strawberries
2-3 tbsp sugar
juice of 1 lemon
1/2-3/4 cup water

1. BLEND ALL TOGETHER :)

Banana Bread Milkshake (serves at least 2):
1/2 frozen banana
oat milk to blend
cinnamon-flavoured ice-cream or vanilla ice-cream with a pinch of cinnamon added (1 large scoop per person)
1/2 cup of ice

1. BLEND ALL TOGETHER :)

Heads up to anyone making an iced tea from scratch: brewing the tea cold yields a MUCH milder product! When you brew tea hot it tends to burn and adds a bitter taste. It takes a little longer to brew it cold but, it's worth it!

You could also put diced peaches in the freezer and use that in your drink as ice cubes/garnish
