What’s in your job shop? 2 A machine shop give-away! I am working on with help from my friend Vince, to set up a small collection of machines to give away to an acquaintance we met during frequenting Brava, Cape Verde Islands, Valdir Monteiro. I got the second motor installed on the Rutland lathe and then I show you a new machine added to the collection we have going to Brava, donated by one of you viewers, after I break down the tooling that pairs the Lathe and Mill, finishing up with a couple mail-in parcels.

Keith, you are truly one of lifes true gentlemen. I totally agree, once your gone the things that you have valued are usually a mystery to your family who do not understand. Encouraging someone to become skilled in manual machining is ensuring that there will be a few people still capable of fixing stuff. Keep up the great work, I have been watching and learning from your videos for what seems like a decade or more and really enjoy the methodology you adopt to do your job shop projects. You have a deep skill base and a are master of your trade, this coupled with a great sense of humour make your videos compulsory viewing.

Hi Keith and Lisa 😊, this is absolutely great what you guys are doing, and so many genorous gifts from all these good people out there in machinist land. And what you say about shop tools that are left after the owner has passed is so true, in my experience some times whole tool collections end up in the scrap because nobody wants them, or can be bothered finding a new home for them, sad. At 81 years of age I, too, am in a quandary as to what to do with my machine shop when I pass. As a hobby machinist, my tools and equipment are second and third rate quality. But still, they “.get the job done”
