I’m about to tell you more about the *3 GEMS of ITALIAN BREAKFAST*, while showing you their COMPLETE HOMEMADE RECIPES, step by step. And if you wanted to give them a try and feel like you were having a *COLAZIONE AL BAR*, well that would make me super happy - so here’s what you’re going to need!

- I CORNETTI (step 1):
1 egg
50 gr brown sugar
80 gr butter
250 gr water
250 gr wheat flour
250 gr whole wheat flour
extra flour within reach
1 tablespoon of honey
a bag of brewer’s yeast powder (about 7 gr)
some lemon rind
(step 2)
50 gr brown sugar
30 gr butter
extra flour within reach
(step 3)
1 egg yolk
2 or 3 tablespoons of honey

- I BISCOTTI OCCHI DI BUE:
2 eggs
100 gr brown sugar
80 gr seed oil
320 gr all-purpose flour
extra flour within reach
half a bag of baking powder (about 8 gr)
some lemon rind
some apricot jam (about 100 gr)
some powder sugar

- IL CIAMBELLONE:
2 eggs
165 gr sugar
75 gr seed oil
85 gr water
165 gr all-purpose flour
half a teaspoon of baking soda
a teaspoon of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

I am an Indian. So, I am chai person. When I was in Italy, I had cappuccino everyday for three months and I loved it.

In Australia and UK we say biscuits for sweet "cookies" like this. Mostly Americans amd Canadians say cookies but you can say both (biscuits is more correct though haha)

Outside of my dietary guidelines, but most illuminating none the less. I may be alone in this opinion, but the algorithmic structures need to change so you may receive more exposure. This is an excellent channel!

biscuit is a french word = biscotto in italian and both mean tiwce (bis that comes from latin) cooked (cuit, cotto) in this case baked because usually (not always) you have to bake them twice to achieve the crunchiness

I couldn't help myself - I made a second batch of cornetti in less than a week! They are addicting... This time I added almonds and nutella between alternating layers :)

My beautiful wife is from Italy. And yes authentic Italian breakfasts are not savory whether it is my wife of 20 years or my mother-in-law who is 86 years old or her aunt who is 92. She is an amazing cook and baker. Today I would like to surprise her and spoil her a bit and bake cornetti for her before she wakes up. Quick question on baking temperature is that F or C degrees? Love your channel! Keep at it.
