Upon the initial discovery, the pint-sized kitten, named Cheeto, was in a dire state of health. "Battling dehydration, starvation, exposure to the cold, and plagued by fleas and filth, the little kitty was utterly exhausted, weighing a mere 1 lb 2 oz," shared Reddit user Chasemburger. "We chose the name CHEETO because his emaciated body contrasted with his disproportionately large head, reminiscent of Chester Cheetah."

Chasemburger continued, "My mother stepped up to adopt him, and it didn't take long for Cheeto to find his forever home. Just one night in her apartment, and he had already won her heart. Welcome to Cheeto's new, loving sanctuary!"
