Deriv Account, How to Register DEMO or REAL Account and Verify

In today's post, I will take you on a step-by-step guide to how to register a demo account and Deriv real account registration.

This should be a simple guide for seasoned traders with experience in opening a trading account in a Forex trading platform.

Regardless, beginners should also not find it difficult to create either a demo account or add a real account on Deriv as this guide will be simple and easy to follow. So easy that anyone can do it. even an 80-year-old grandma.

How to Create Deriv Real Account Step-by-Step Guide

Visit the official Deriv platform.
Use your Email address, Google, Facebook, or Apple to register a demo account
Verify your new account and watch the interactive beginner induction on Deriv
Choose a demo account
Add a real account

You will need to visit the official Deriv platform to create a new account.

Upon clicking the Create a Demo account button, Deriv will send you a link to verify your email address. Do that and you will be redirected to this page (Trader's Hub).

2). Choose a Platform For Your Demo Account.

While Deriv is just one, it has multiple platforms to aid you in achieving success trading.

Some of those platforms include: -

The Deriv Trade Platform - this platform is an option for multipliers trading trading
Deriv bot (an option to automate your trading, no coding needed)
Binary bot (Automated legacy trading)
Deriv Go ( Deriv trading app)
Smart Trader (Deriv legacy options trading)
Deriv Mt5 or the Financial Demo platform for Forex trading

Regardless of the platform you choose now, you will still get $10,000 in your DEMO account and you have the freedom to choose from one platform to the next when you are logged in.

To do this, you will need to tap on the trader's hub menu at the top left corner and choose a platform to switch to.

For example, the image below is of the Deriv trader platform which is synonymous with the standard trading platform in Quotex.

3). Add a Real Account

Unlike other binary options trading platforms that create for you a real account the instance you get a demo account, Deriv doe not.

For you to start trading with real money to make real profits in Deriv, you must first add a real account on the trading platform.

You can do this by tapping on the cashier menu at the top of the chart, tapping on the deposit button on the platform, or tapping the arrow next to your demo account balance, switching to real, and choosing to add an account.

When all that is done, a window will pop up on your screen.

Choose the currency you want your real account to be shown in. Here you can either choose crypto or fiat currencies. USD is standard for beginners traders.
Next, you need to enter your personal details - First name, last name, date of birth, and phone number included.
Enter your address information. Note that the address must be verifiable. Personally, I use Zuku internet receipts for all online verification.
Enter your ID/passport number
Read and agree to the terms of service

That's it. Once all this is done, your real account will be ready for deposit.
