I've noticed that mine love being held, or allowed to just have some lap time. But theY ABSOLUTELY hate getting picked up. And don't like having the nails clipped. But, overall, they're the best pets one can have.

When I open the windows in their room, the window makes a tiny squeak which often freaks the piggies out, bless them.

I just got two New Guinea pigs after my first died. They are cuddle bugs with each other and have not stopped pop Corning and running around! <3

Oh. They sure are, definitely social creatures. They bond very deeply with one another and don't like being separated.
Every day mine get some couch time. Or lap time. But.
When I move them from their playpen to the couch, or couch to their playpen They go crazy.
When separated They start screaming, wide open. They can all see each other, no problem there. But will " wheek " at full volume until reunited. They can't stand being apart. If I sit down and watch some TV, they get so jealous.
Usually, which ever one I pick up, it will climb up on my shoulder and probably goes to sleep. The others will climb upon my lap and want their favorite vantpoint

Apparently my Pepper Boy seems to be an exception when it comes to travel. When I had severe panic attacks and I was practicing walking without panicking, I took Pepper with me in a small animal box. I took pictures of flowers and beautiful places and those are the moments where he looks out of the box for some weed. He associates something beautiful with it and sleeps in the box. Once on the way to the vet I was in the car and another person was driving, I took him out and he was sleeping in my arms. It seems like he said "Well you're here and take care of me. Then it's good for me". Pepper is a guinea pig that even sleeps in its crate in a vet waiting room. But as I said, he is an absolute exception and certainly happy not to be in the car often (unfortunately he has to shorten the routine to the vet once a month because of dental problems because of sick incisors)

Further confirmation that my pigs are really weird.
One of them forces my hand on top of their head like a dog. The other likes water (probably because she's a Rex with really dense fur, but I'm not risking skin problems just because she likes baths.)

question we just got guinea pigs today and the water bottle leaks when the ball is there and could you do a video on things guinea pig owners fear when outside in a cage bc we have them outside and ik its still safe but im worried there not eating or drinking but they have the stuff plz i need advise thx and your channel is unbelivably great thx
