Nigerian President Buhari to meet his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is preparing to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. He'll be in China until Friday. Buhari is also due to meet Chinese Premier Li Keqiang - as well as top legislator Zhang Dejiang. The meetings between the top Chinese leadership and the Nigerian president will focus on bilateral relations and discussing issues of common concern. Several cooperation agreements are to be signed and a joint forum on production capacity cooperation will also be held. Nigeria and China are marking 45 years of diplomatic ties. President Buhari is also due to visit the Chinese economic hub of Shanghai, as wel as the southern city of Guangzhou, where a large population of Nigerians can be found.
