Converting Trimble Files (.dxf/.ttm/.svl/.svd) to a Topcon Project File (.tp3)

This video will show how convert your Trimble data collector or machine files and calibration into a Topcon Project File for use in a data collector or 3DMC systems.

You can also use LSS Toolkit. Works well, but be cautious and check it against the Site Calibration Report.

Are there any free or opensource software to convert TTM surfaces into DXF or LandXML? Or any kind of plugin to import it directly in civil 3d?

can't seem to find a link to Trimble Business Center. Is this something I have to buy?

Yeah I have TBC 5.1 and couldn't save as an autocad file and bring it into office 3d, It would be blank and not load anything.

But you can open both linework and tin autocad files in autocad and hit export and save both files as 2007 dxf and office 3d will load them.

Yeah I didn't want to have 5.1 and 4.1 Trimble business center just to convert it.

Hope this helps more people with the same problem. It's like TBC was trying to stop people from using topcon dozers with Trimble software.

I've been using this method for awhile now and just now had a client who went to import the tp3 into their dozer. The dozer will load it up but then when it gets into the grading areas it freezes and shuts down. Any clue why this would be happening?

I use Trimble at work but i personally own a top rover with pocket 3d. I tried to take all my Trimble files and convert them but when I select the dxf from my thumb drive nothing shows up in Office3D. A lot of the times i get “import failed: invalid format”. Why isn’t my lines work or surface showing up when i bring them into 3D-Office?
