Product Showcase: SparkFun Qwiic Quad Solid State Relay Kit

The SparkFun Qwiic Quad Solid State Relay Kit takes one of our favorite solid state relays and lets you place up to four of them on a single PCB to control all of them via I2C from your desired microcontroller. Each relay is rated to 40A @ 28-380 VAC so with all four on board you can control some serious power all from the easy-to-use Qwiic Connect System. The kit requires no soldering but there is some minor assembly required to attach the relays to the board and to connect your AC load.

Hi Rob

Always good to see you!

Today’s product has a lot of serious potential for making a greenhouse cooling system.

Larger fans that require that more power along with window activators makeup a reliable cooling system.

Most home greenhouses have small under powered fans and hand operated windows. Using relays that can handle more power then your standard do it yourself kits provide a powerful and reliable system.

Thanks for today’s review. Looking forward for a active demo showcase your new relays.

"Wouldn't be able to turn them off without resetting the board" --> Factually inaccurate. Wouldn't be able to turn them off without pulling the (high-voltage) plug.
Resetting the ATTiny will achieve nothing.
