I wouldn't blame you for the idea, but it kinda makes sense when you think about it.

Most of FNF relies on either the instrumental or the vocals carrying the song (and sometimes both), but churgney gurgney/strum has this way with making music that makes it sound A LOT more melodious than it would normally (see: "Your Copy", "Legacy", "Manual Blast", "Alert", "Rumor", etc...), so mixing that end part of Sonic.exe singing in Obituary with "Rabbit Hole" makes sense when you listen to it.
