its really awesome how its all under water, it adds a sense of claustrophobia, like how in amnesia you are trapped underground in dark caves.

So underrated... You guys made story masterpiece, I had so deep emotions, during the play. Game on death theme, deep under water! Nobody did games like Soma before you. I played it 3 times. Story, atmosphere, music are great. Thank you for what you did, for this game.

There are Upsilon and Delta Sections in the clip. The narrator mentions bustling crowd in Taipei. I would guess the world setting would be in Taipei, of A. Huxley 's "Brave New World". Looks promising. I hope they will do the language part right. It's always immersion-breaking when a foreign studio fails to grapple this aspect.

They've worked on this too hard for it to be bad. Honestly, the guys at Frictional are geniuses, if this gets anywhere under 80 on metacritic, I'll be extremely surprised!

Frictional games have great imagination in story settings and timelines. like penumbra being in early 21st century then amnesia: the dark descent in 1839 and a machine for pigs 1899. Wonder what predicted timeline SOMA will be in.
