Bill shows you how to install a TMI Headliner Kit Molded One-Piece UniSuede Coupe on your 1965-1966.

Purchase Product Here:

If you're looking to replace the headliner in your classic Mustang, but want something a little more modern, TMI's one-piece headliner is the perfect choice. The high-quality uni-suede material will update and freshen the interior in the 1965 coupe, and this is exactly the look we're going for in our Weekend Wrench project car.

To install, begin by removing the factory headliner, visors, rear seat, quarter trim panels, and all the interior trim. TMI's headliner does not require removal of the front and rear windshields like factory headliners, neatly fitting underneath the seal between your windshields and the top of the car. Then, remove the factory headliner rods.

Create a point of center for centering the TMI one-peice headliner in your Mustang, and then clamp it into place once it is inside. Then, secure the edge of the headliner underneath the seal between both windshields and install the visors, rods, and rear view mirror.

Start putting the interior back together, including the package tray and windlace, and once everything is back into place, your installation is finished. Total installation will take four to five hours on your 1965-1966.

Hello, Mr Nobody here ....there is no reason why I can't look under "playlists" and find the years/models video's for every part you sell. An example would be, I am currently working on a 67 Mustang. I should see a "1967 Mustang" playlist ...and I should be buying everything CJPony sells for it. Big marketing waste, or did I miss something? imNobodyo

I got the one piece TMI head liner. It is terrible. The vinyl bubbled up in several spots and there is not enough material for the headliner to go under wind lace. I going with the MTF one.

The quartz clock conversion is on the list for the future but we do not have a 69-70 here in need of the conversion so we will need to wait for the right car.

Wish something like this was made for falcons, so nice to see tho!

I ended up using a couple of interior screws to retain the sail panel pieces but otherwise, installed as per the instructions. Care must be taken if the rubber gasket is very old. It's hard and cracks easily. That was the case for the rear window but it worked out. That's why I used the interior screws. Got the main piece under the gasket but overlapped the sail panel parts.

I noticed that you use premixed primer when you put parts together, well I have, also the problem is it's mostly water-downed primer, it has to have mostly thinner than paint or primer so it will exit the can

Currently they are only available for 64-68 coupes but there are plans for fastbacks and 69-70 in the future

Not crazy about that suede look. I like the concept but do they make one that is covered with something more original looking?

The 05-09 glue failing is pretty common. As far as your door panels on your 11 I would suggest trading panels with someone who would want the grabber blue trim.

I have a 68 Cougar.  I believe the front and rear glass is the same as a 64-66 Mustang.   Does that mean the one piece headliner might fit my car?  Thanks!

So you don't use the three bows with this type headliner?
