Forensic GeologistScott Wolter was the keynote speaker at the 2014 Texas GIS Forum on Thursday, October 23rd.

Short Bio:
Wolter is the host of History’s H2 network’s hit show, America Unearthed, that follows him on his quest to uncover the truth behind historic artifacts and sites found throughout North America.

Scott is the author of several books including his 2013 title, Akhenaten to the Founding Fathers: The Mysteries of the Hooked X and The Hooked X: Key to the Secret History of North America. Together these books cover the story of his continuing research and resulting discoveries made over the last 12 years, beginning with his ongoing quest to uncover the mysteries of the controversial Kensington Rune Stone he studied in 2001. The Kensington stone is a medieval document carved in rock which Scott proposed is a land claim placed in Minnesota in 1362 by a group of Templar knights.

I found Mr Wolter's enthusiasm contagious and content very interesting. Looking forward to hear more of what he has to say.

I salute Scott for his efforts and his ability to produce a tv show based on his investigations. But he does have that Trump-like trait, where he tells you about something he didn't know until he learned it and says "nobody knows." In the intro to America Unearthed he alludes to sites all across North America that "nobody knows about..., " instead of describing them as "not popularly known."
Books and articles have been written about all the sites Scott featured on AU. He himself is a Johnny-come-lately on historical sites and scholarship. That's not to disparage Scott; in fact, his enthusiasm is much appreciated! He does deserve tremendous credit for popularizing ancient sites on his show. However, a bit of humility and credit toward previous scholars seems in order.

the graphic switched crook and flail in contradiction to what was being said at 26:52 -- should have been isis=crook, osiris=flail

Like it or not, Scott always has great information. I must question the names on the Ossuary though. I thought that the name Jesus was a Greek or Latin translation of the word Yeshua. Now with that information it's more likely that 900 years ago someone carved the ossuary with the names.
