Working Hours in Saudi Arabia | What Saudi Labor Law states | Article 98, 99, 100, 101, 102 & 103

As per article (98) of Saudi Labor Law, An employee or worker in Saudi Arabia should not work more than 8 hours in a single day, If the employer decided to re adjust the working hours due to any reason then it should not exceed more than 48 hours in a week. Similarly in (Ramzan) Ramadan month working hours for Muslims should not exceed 6 hours in a single day or 36 hours in a week. But the Article 99 of Saudi Labor Law, states that working hours can be raised to 9 hours in a single day for few workmen or employees in certain operations and industries, If the worker is not working continuously. Similarly working hours can be reduced to 7 hours for few workmen or employees in certain industries or operations of a harmful nature. The categories of employees or workmen in few operations or industries shall be determined by Minister's decision.

The company makes me work for 12 hours and gives me 2 hours of overtime, I have to do 26 days of duty for 12 hours.

Im working 12hr shift in a substation continuously without any holiday leaves. They give 1 off day weekly and 4 hr overtime per day but not giving the additional 50% of the normal wages for overtime. 🥲 is it allowed with ministry's approval ?

There are all construction sites peoples are forced to work 10 to 12 hours.
Who is going to see. Most of the company breaks labour law.

my some question I working in clinic more than 10 years in ksa still I'm inthere not leaving the job there . I write contract 2 years duty hours 8 but thay said we not follow in saudi roles if u want the job do it 9 hours and any holiday thay without inform me thay putting my duties mast be do it. 10 years until not increased my salary

That law is for domestic household worker???me i work in house of my employer 16hours...no rest.. break time onle if i eat sometimes they see im eat they call me to work...why theres a law then the saudi people not obey the law
